11/10/14

Well I can't believe I am in the Release stage, phase 2. I am still loving the new recipes. It is a lot of food prep, but it keeps me busy. I do miss having my shake every morning. I did make one today for day 9. I was really happy today, felt great. I wasn't hungry in fact dinner was a stretch but the soup was awesome! I've lost weight in fact almost 7 pounds in phase 1, I'm excited to see what the second week has. It feels so good to be eating healthy.

11/6/14

My goals was to blog each day, to keep a journal of my Ultimate Reset journey, well then you know life gets in the way and I got busy. So Day 3,4,5 have been good. I definitely feel lighter, and feel very satified with the food. Loving trying new things. I am still having my shakeology for snack everyday, can't seem to give that up. Day 3 brought lentil salad and veggie black bean taco. Day 4 was Fruit and yogurt, micro green salad, and quionoa salad with a sweet potato. Day 5 was oatmeal with apples/yogurt, veggies and hummus, and quinoa salad, and miso soup and stir fried veggies with brown rice. I've tried some different chocolate and strawberry shakes. My favorite was today with strawberry frozen pineapple and kiwi. The alkanalize is getting better, I added some lemon juice today and I was able to get it down better.

11/4/14

SO I completed Day 2. I was super tired yesterday and had a really bad headache. I hear from others that the tiredness last for the first 3-4 days, and I know the headache is my own fault, caffeine. It's hard to believe that it has that affect on you. I did have a cup of hot tea yesterday because there is something about holding a warm cup when it's hot. My food yesterday was amazing! I had a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries and yogurt for breakfast, a HUGE micro green salad and miso soup for lunch, a strawberry shake with frozen pineapple for snack, and dinner was this awesome baked salmon, asparagus and potatoes. I was definitely full!!! I'm looking forward to the veggie tacos and lentil salad today, I've heard great things about both. I did good with not picking while I cooked my family a different dinner last night. I am a bad nibbler. The hardest part of yesterday was being tired and drinking my alkanlize I hear with a little lemon it's better. I just dont' like the taste of seaweed. Ugh! But I know this journey is worth it and I'm sticking with it. I also went to Trader Joe's and bought the rest of stuff I need for Week 1. I'm excited about the recipes coming up. I'm wearing my bracelet to remind me of this journey and keep me on track to remember my why!

11/2/14

So today was Day 1 of the Ultimate Reset. I started a day early, not quite as prepared as I thought I was. Thank goodness for the Reset in a Crunch ideas. I was able to switch around breakfast and lunch. Headed to Trader Joe's tomorrow to do more shopping. So for the past 13 months each day I have had a shakeology for breakfast, I did miss that this morning, but was able to squeeze one in for a snack. It was delicious too, tropical strawberry with frozen strawberries (because I didn't have any ice that was distilled water) and a kiwi. I loved it! For lunch we were out of town, but I was able to grill a piece of chicken at my mom's and have it with the Greek Salad and dressing. Loved the salad dressing. The thing I miss the most so far is my coffee. I did have a cup of hot tea and that filled the gap some. For dinner I had stir fry veggies with a cucumber/tomato salad. It was good and I definitely feel full. Love that I can switch recipes around during the same week. I doubled up on the stir fry and cucumber/tomato salad so that I can have that one again. I do find myself reaching for some of my habit foods, but didn't cave today and hope to maintain the needed. I will tell you that it was hard not to take a bite of an Annie's cheeseburger today that my girls had for lunch. I usually don't get one but ALWAYS take a bite. But today I refrained. Looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow.

10/26/14

I completed day 77 of Bodybeast today! Can't believe that I only have one week left. I also received my Ultimate Reset kit, getting excited about this new adventure.

Last week of Bodybeast

10/24/14

So starting Monday, I will be on my last week of Bodybeast. I can't wait to post my results. This has been an intense program but so worth it. I have beefed up a little, in fact I quit weighing myself because it stressed me out. I'm so conditioned to only look at the number on the scale. I should remember from my high school days, I always weighed more than people thought-but I was fit, because I participated in many sports. My clothes fit great, in fact some better than before. I definitely have gained muscle tone. My next adventure starts on November 1, as I will be doing the Ultimate Reset. This is going to be a big push for me because it means no exercise for 21 days. I'm excited about recharging and resetting my body though. Thankful I have a friend, who's going to go along the journey with me. We are going to great, Luanne!!!

10/19/14

So I only have two weeks of Bodybeast left and I am loving this program! I started 21 day fix over a week ago, so I'll be adding that in for the second week this week. I also mixed some of Autumn's workouts in and WOW! I really am liking following the meal plan again. I will continue with 21 day fix until November 1. At that time, I plan to start Ultimate Reset. I need to reclaim, release and restore my body back to it's original state-reset and then start again. I worked on my menu plan for this week and you can see to the right.

Programs since my last post

9/6/14

I love completing Beachbody programs, I have completed Les Mills Pump and it was a great weight lifting program. I definitely lost fat percentage as well as a few pounds. I could see my definition in muscles, and was super happy. My next program to try was Piyo-and I am absolutely in LOVE with this program. My body was ready for a different program. Even though it was low impact, I still got great results. The new 3 day refresh came out this summer and I've used it twice already. It's great for wanting to get back on track after summer vacations. The first round I lost 4.8 lbs and 2 inches, and the second round I lost 5.1 lbs and 2 inches. I'm not doing BodyBeast to get some more weightlifting in by building muscle and losing fat. I'm on week 3 and loving my results so far.

Finished P90X3 and now for a HYBRID schedule-T25/Les Mills Pump

3/29/14

So I'm super excited to be complete with P90X3. It was a 90 day program that really took me out of my comfort zone. I stuck with it, and I am extremely happy with the results. I lost 3.5 lbs, 3.5 inches and 2% body fat. I definitely built some lean muscle. My next adventure will be using T25 and Les Mills Pump, a hybrid schedule. I loved 21 day fix, which I did during my P90X3 journey, so I will continue with that meal plan/containers, and LOVE the ab exercises. I have some awesome challenge groups, so if you're looking for support, accountability and motivation, you should join us!

2/2/14

So excited about 2014 and new goals. Getting Lean is definitely a goal of mine and I will be completing P90X3 to make it a reality. After completing T25 and Gamma and loving the results, I am motivated to continue on the fitness path. P90X3 is new so I am excited about working with a test group to record our results. I am excited about the challenge group we have using T25 and various other exercise programs. The group helps keep me accountable and motivated!

I am currently on week 2, only 77 more days to go!  Another goal I had is to create a blog, so bare with me as I figure this out. I'm hoping to post my journey with P90X3 and photos from my third goal. My third goal is to complete the 365 day photo project (taking a pic everyday!).So far I'm off to a great start, but we are only on day 2.

Happy New Year!
So I have been using P90X3 for the past 6 weeks. I am loving the results I am getting. I will have to admit that some of the exercises are out of my comfort zone. Although, I now look forward to the X3 Yoga. I am committed to finish the 90 day program. I will be starting week 7 tomorrow! I am also intrigued about the 21 day fix coming out tomorrow. The meal plan will definitely be something I'm adding to my schedule.
